This policy forms part of the Akmond Business Terms of Service and sets out activities and content that are not permitted on the platform.
1. Illegal Goods and Services
You must not use Akmond Business to offer, advertise, facilitate or transact in illegal goods or services, or goods or services prohibited by an applicable payment provider or service provider.
- illegal drugs and controlled substances;
- unlicensed, counterfeit or unlawfully supplied medicines or medical products;
- firearms, ammunition, explosives, prohibited weapons, weapon parts or unlawful weapon services;
- stolen or counterfeit goods;
- terrorism, terrorist financing, recruitment or support for terrorist activity;
- money laundering, sanctions evasion or concealment of criminal proceeds;
- fraud, identity theft, impersonation, forged documents or payment manipulation;
- human trafficking, child exploitation or unlawful sexual exploitation;
- malware, credential theft, unauthorised access or unlawful hacking services;
- unlawful gambling or regulated financial services offered without required licences or approvals; and
- any other activity prohibited by applicable law or mandatory provider rules.
2. Regulated Products and Services
Where a product or service is legal but regulated, the seller must hold every licence, permit, approval and registration required for the relevant jurisdiction and must comply with all applicable advertising and consumer-protection requirements. Akmond may restrict categories that a payment or service provider does not support even where the underlying activity is lawful.
3. Fraud, Deception and Abuse
You must not create fake stores, fake orders, false reviews, deceptive promotions, misleading pricing, fabricated claims, unauthorised charges, chargeback abuse, identity theft or other fraudulent or deceptive activity.
4. Security and Unauthorised Access
You must not attempt to access another person's account, bypass access controls, probe or exploit vulnerabilities without permission, distribute malware, interfere with service availability, steal credentials, scrape restricted data or use another user's credentials.
5. Payments and Financial Abuse
You must not disguise the purpose of a payment, route funds through the platform to conceal their source or destination, manipulate payment confirmations, create transactions solely to move funds without a legitimate underlying purpose, or circumvent payment-provider controls.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
You must have the rights required to upload, publish and sell content. You must not knowingly infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy rights or other third-party rights.
7. Marketing and Customer Communications
You must not use the platform to distribute deceptive advertising, unlawful spam, phishing messages, fake promotions or communications intended to mislead or unlawfully pressure customers. Marketing must accurately represent your products, services, prices and material conditions.
8. Compliance with Investigations
You must cooperate with reasonable requests for information related to KYC/KYB, fraud review, payment reconciliation, prohibited-activity investigations, delivery disputes or other lawful compliance processes.
9. Enforcement
Akmond may investigate suspected violations using automated tools and manual review. Depending on the circumstances, we may remove or disable content, restrict payments or withdrawals, suspend delivery or store features, require additional verification, suspend an account or terminate access. Where required or permitted, we may preserve or disclose relevant information to competent authorities or service providers.
10. Reporting a Violation
Reports of suspected illegal activity, fraud, security issues or prohibited goods may be made through the support channels published on akmondpay.com or business.akmondpay.ng.
